Ecumenical Parish Center St. Andreas
In the new garden suburb of Hagen-Helfe, two new church areas should originally be planned. After discussions with Archbishop Lorenz Jaeger, the architects Funke, Krug and van der Minde were commissioned to plan one shared church. The construction time started in 1975. The community center is characterized by expressionist forms and sculptural elements and uses different materials such as slate and exposed concrete.
