Kornmarkt Parking Garage
Different angular volumes form the building. Adapted to the slope, there is nothing at the same height. Canopies are staggered, whole parts of the façade appear to be shifted. Parts of the building are set back, some come out and protrude from the façade. Sloping roof surfaces overlap each other, sometimes long and narrow and reaching almost to the ground, sometimes rather short. A pattern of lines runs almost across the entire façade. Wide and thin depressions divide the building horizontally. Particularly striking are the mounted stone slabs. Fixed to a concrete construction, they cover the parking area. The construction can be read, the concrete struts peek out and show what they support.
