| Condition | The stadium is still in use for school classes, joggers, players, aerobic, etc. The swimming pool is still in use as well. At one point there were discussions about demolition by the government, but the project was stopped by architects, the internet community and residents of Phnom Penh. Today the complex is under threat as high rise buildings encroach on the arena. Construction of the Morodok Techo National Sports Complex, a new giant stadium complex at a different location, raises further questions about the future of Molyvann’s buildings. |

One of the biggest projects by Vann Molyvann: A stadium (84.000–100.000 seats), a sports hall (8000 seats) and a swimming compound (4000 visitors), surrounded by cooling water basins. Special thanks to Claus Donau, Basel.
