Triangle Housing

With its triangular shapes the complex structure is known as „étoiles d´Ivry-sur-Seine” (stars of Ivry-sur-Seine). Being vocal communists, the architects tried to address people’s social needs and complex relationships. To achieve this, the project mixes shops, offices and apartments which are connected by a curvy system of private and public streets. With this the concept goes directly against the then popular zoning schemes.
