The administrative complex consists of multiple hexagonal segments, grouped around a core. The various parts are offset by half a level and connected with stairs. This split level layout creates a continuously ascending, spiral office space. With the surrounding balcony parapets this dynamic interior layout is visible on the outside as well. This innovative spatial principle for office spaces was awarded the Plakette des Bundes Deutscher Architekten in 1972. Written by Sandra Pappe
