The old provost church stood between the Elstergraben and the green area of the Rosental Park. A square, flat-roofed structure made of steel and exposed concrete and an open, 18-meter-high freestanding bell tower form the church complex. A grid of glass blocks forms the front. On the left, a cast-iron door by the Berlin sculptor Achim Kühn leads into the interior space of the church which was designed by him as well. The sober inner room resembles more a hall than a church interior. A peculiar coffered ceiling takes up the grid of the façade.
