Catedral de San Felipe

The old church was demolished to build this new one. The design of the new building was inspired in the Church of Notre Dame du Haut (Le Corbusier), in fact, the outside cantilever roof stablishes a connection between both temples. The exterior murals that integrate to the façade (like the hand seen on the right side of picture 1), were designed by the venezuelan artist Carlos González Bogen.
