The building of the Museum of Byzantine Culture shows exposed concrete and brick as main materials and various features regarding its shape. Different heights, external staircases, window bands with brise soleils, a spacious atrium with surrounding gallery and colonnades make a diversified design. On 5.371,27 square meters, the whole building houses several exhibition spaces, rooms for educational purposes, amphitheaters, a cafe-restaurant, storing spaces, conservation workshops, administration offices and other auxiliary spaces.
