The Municipal Exhibition Pavilion was built in the historic centre of Krakow and close to Planty Park. It was constructed in the place of demolished historic buildings. One of them (eighteenth-century tenement house) survived in a state of ruin, and Różyska-Tołłoczko decided to restore it and incorporate into the new structure. The form of “The Bunker of Art” is very simple – it is actually one large cuboid. The architectural value of it lies above all in the original concrete texture and sophisticated details of entrances.
