Three gigantic residential buildings rise up into the sky and shape the cityscape of Mannheim. Along with the terrace houses, they belong to the NUB project (Neckaruferbebauung). The three giants stand almost symmetrically next to each other on star-shaped ground plans. The supply shafts and elevators are centrally located and form the highest elements of the high-rise buildings. The three parts of the building, which are arranged around the centre, are lowered in steps. The reddish brown concrete used for the supply shafts and the narrow sides of the building parts attract attention especially from a distance.
