The nave is clear and cubic with windows only at the entrance and the altar. One reaches the portal by climbing wide stairs in front. The belfry is situated next to the nave like a campanile. The entire building is made of exposed concrete. Parts of the church which are colored red due to broken bricks added to the cement, reminding of the debris in destroyed Kassel after WWII.
