Monumental construction and alien appearance combined with the warm tone of the bricks. Gasteig provides an unique peaceful atmosphere in its cave-like halls and corridors. It represents an early use of brick for the monumentalisation of concert halls. Same approach was applied much later by Renzo Piano. (written by Luka Breneselovic)
