| Condition | The offices have been for rent since July 2017, the ambulance station will be closed in 2018. There are plans to demolish the building and develop 10–12 urban villas on the site (January 2016). Because the building represents the cultural-historical and urban development of the area, the council of Amersfoort listed the building as a municipal monument (March 2016). The building is in need of renovation. Some metal bands in the façade have gone missing recently. (Written by Chris Nas) |
| Architects | Lambertus Jacobus (Bart) Linssen |
| Construction Date | 1966 |
L.J. Linssen was the city architect of Amersfoort from 1956 till 1966 when he designed an office building for the municipal health services (GG&GD), including an ambulance station in the annex. The repeated modular elements are grouped together into a unified whole. The plan of the building reveals the function of every modular element. The surfaces reveal the texture of the wooden planks used for the casting forms with a playful alternation of horizontal and vertical lines.
