| Condition | In 2008 the complex was acquired by a Christian association named “Pavillon der Hoffnung e.V.” (pavilion of hope) as an interdenominational meeting place, for youth work and for diverse activities. Apart from the now brightly painted two-storey annex the building seems to be in original and good condition. |

Exhibition hall for VEB Carl Zeiss Jena at the former Leipzig's trade fair area. It was erected by a polish firm thus enabling higher standards in building materials than usual in German Democratic Republic at the time. Next to the entrance there is a large hall with a gallery for up to 950 people. The whole building complex has a space capacity of 5,000 square meters on four storeys. The construction consists of reinforced concrete with washed concrete panels outside. Written by Torsten Ahlers
