Seyhoun was an internationally known Iranian architect. After his graduation from the Tehran University of Fine Arts, he travelled to France in 1947 to pursue his education at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts under Otello Zavaroni. The new educational atmosphere made a huge impact on young Seyhoun’s future style. … His work combines elements of ancient Persian art and history with modern architecture.
