Minimalist design: A lapidary cuboid with uncladded concrete frame construction, filled with yellow clinker. 10 years after its erection, a twin building was erected in 100 metres distance from the first bloc. In the very beginning, the building hosted the "Städtische Ingenieurschule Gießen (Polytechnikum)". 1971, it became "Fachhochschule Gießen" and later "Technische Universität Mittelhessen".
