The Dewey Library inside the Hermann Building, located on the east end of MIT campus, was designed by Eduardo Catalano, who taught at MIT from 1956-1977. The four-story building, that angles out from a glazed ground floor, acts like a fortress, set on a heavy concrete plinth and can thus be assigned to the category “Tourette Type”.
