| Condition | The pyramidal building has been preserved until today in all its structures and details, including the colour system. Unfortunately, despite the protection of historical monuments in 2012/13, reconstruction, new construction and demolition has been planned for years. The main complex is scheduled for demolition within the next 10-15 years, as well as any other building, except for the library and an old building in the north. |

The multi-storey Kreuzbau rises in the middle of Cologne. The colours blue, yellow and brown are strongly represented here, as well as the grey of the concrete, underlining the structure of the skeleton building. Due to its considerable height and architectural presence, the building has a significant influence on the district.
