Les Choux de Créteil are a group of cylindrical residential towers designed by architect Gérard Grandval in the Parisian suburb of Créteil. The project owes its name "Choux" (translated "cabbages") to its special balcony shapes. Vegetables for Parisian households were grown in this quarter for over a century, which may have inspired the architect to create the expressively shaped balconies.
