The tent-like reinforced concrete church designed by Heinz Baron and Dieter Brandhorst resembles half a pyramid. The covered roof does not extend down to the ground. Instead, the supporting exposed concrete cards arranged at regular intervals with a sloping formwork pattern jut out here. Above the two entrances, the concrete edge of the church marquee projects forward to form a horizontal canopy. The actual church walls are fenestrated. The architectural form of the half pyramid stages the altar area in the interior as the dramaturgical climax. This is further emphasized by the arrow-like wall design with green ceramic tiles that tapers on the apex from the concrete slabs of the altar wall. Sculptor Franz Gutmann is responsible for this design feature, while the design of the windows was done in two stages by artist Emil Wachter in 1973 and 1997. The community center also includes a rectory, a kindergarten, a square and boundary walls.
