The Catholic church was planned by Franz Xaver Gärtner, a student of Sep Ruf, as an octagon of exposed brickwork with a flat concrete dome on eight concrete pillars and a free-standing exposed concrete bell tower. The church is illuminated by stained glass windows and a window at the zenith of the ceiling. Most of the furnishings are the work of the two artists Prof. Josef Hanselmann and Hubert Elsässer.
