The 4-storey C.C.S. Amenities Building is built in 1972, with a stepped design in its overall mass, the 2nd to 4th floor are respectively recessed by 3 meters, highlighting the layers of concrete balustrade of each floor. Structurally, load-bearing elements like beams and columns are visible on the facade, especially calling attention to extended tips of beams. These have made the building appeared to be so much lighter, just like it is floating in the air. The gymnasium is supported by steel truss, the column-free space is flexible for sports events. Material-wise, Szeto applied modernistic white external plaster to most external walls, exposed columns and beams are accented with bush-hammered concrete, gymnasium side and balustrade are fairfaced concrete with board pattern, and random pattern rubble pitching is used at the base.
